Attorney Jacob L. Davidson

Jake has been practicing estate planning law since 2015 and elder law since 2016. Jake is a member of The Ohio State Bar Association, Elder and Special Needs Law, and Elder Counsel. He is also an accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of claims for veterans’ benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In addition, Jake was on the inaugural State of Ohio Notary Advisory Board, investigating notary fraud and help setting the Notarial Act Laws for the State of Ohio. All of Jake's affiliations and memberships provide him an opportunity to keep his knowledge up to date with the everchanging environments of his practice areas- something Jake has a passion about which allows him to better serve his client's needs.

 

Jake also feels strongly about serving his community and giving back as evidenced by his involvement on local charitable boards. He is Vice President of the Olmsted Falls Alumni and Endowment Board that gives over $30,000 in scholarships every year to graduating seniors. He is also the Treasurer of the Oaks Family Care board located in Brunswick, which provides material goods and services to babies and families in need.

As a third generation Bulldog and Buckeye, Jake proudly graduated from Olmsted Falls High School, The Ohio State University, and then pursued his law degree from Appalachian School of Law in Virginia. He worked with Hocking County Probate and Juvenile Court Judge Richard Wallar where he learned about the Probate process from the Court's perspective. He also worked with the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy which provided experience with criminal defense and court hearing procedures.

Jake lives in Olmsted Falls with his wife, two boys aged five and eleven, and rescue dog "Elvis." He enjoys biking, fishing, kayaking, walking Elvis, and coaching youth sports.
